John Adair, Senior Portfolio Manager at Patton Albertson & Miller, blends a deep-rooted passion for finance with a commitment to family and community. Born in Dallas, Texas, and raised in Atlanta, Georgia from the age of 8, John has been married to Anita since 1996 and is a father to three children: Johnny, Jack, and Audrey. The Adair family enjoys the simple pleasures of being homebodies, playing wiffle ball or kickball in the summer, and engaging in board games and cards during the winter.
John graduated from Samford University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and then went on to complete his MBA with a Finance Major at Georgia State University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a designation that marks a significant milestone in his professional journey. At Patton Albertson & Miller, John is invigorated by the continuous learning opportunities in portfolio management and values the collaborative work with the Investment Services Team and Client Service Teams in meeting clients’ goals and objectives.
Outside of his professional sphere, John enjoys woodworking, outdoor activities like hiking and fishing, and playing golf with a close friend. His personal philosophy, “Don’t let perfection get in the way of making the right decision,” guides him both in his career and personal life. Looking ahead, John aspires to continue contributing to the growth and success of Patton Albertson & Miller and mentoring future leaders in the firm and the financial industry. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Directors for Campbell-Stone Apartments, an affordable living community for seniors in metro Atlanta.
